Schaumburg-Hoffman Lions Club awards scholarship

Joanne Cho, a senior at James B. Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, was awarded the Schaumburg-Hoffman Lions Club 2018 scholarship at the May 3rd Lions Club monthly meeeting. Miss Cho is planning to study physical therapy at Marquette University.

The Schaumburg-Hoffman Lions are part of the world's largest volunteer service organization, Lions Clubs International, guided by our association's motto of, "We Serve". Club members are from Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elgin, South Elgin and more, bound by the shared goal of helping our communities. Recent club projects include providing free hearing and vision screenings, serving a holiday dinner to needy families, preparing dinners for PADS homeless shelter, doing home improvement projects for needy residents, sponsoring summer camp stays for visually- and hearing-impaired children, and much more.
