Memorial Day Dog Wash to Benefit Hadley

The Teen Board of Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host its annual

Dog Wash and a Bake Sale fundraiser on Memorial Day Monday, May 28, from

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Hadley parking lot at 700 Elm St. in Winnetka.

Cost is $10 for small dogs; $12 for medium dogs; and $15 for large dogs. Shampoo, towel dry, and star-spangled bandanna are included. Advance tickets are available by emailing annieritter@gmail.com. For more information, call (847) 784-2751.

All proceeds benefit Hadley, which offers learning opportunities free of charge to adults with vision loss and their families, and affordable tuition to blindness professionals. Today, Hadley is the largest provider of distance education for people who are blind or visually impaired around the world, serving more than 100,000 learners annually in all 50 states and in 100 countries. Hadley is also the largest educator of braille worldwide.
