COD hosts free senior workshop on local crime prevention June 21

The College of DuPage will host a free local crime prevention workshop for seniors from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 21, in the Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center, Room 1022, on the college's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Part of the Homeland Security Training Institute's Senior Citizen Crime Prevention series, this workshop features representatives from the Naperville Police Department who will discuss local crime statistics and methods for crime prevention.

While this workshop is free, seating is limited and reservations are required.

Funded through a Resource for Excellence grant from the College of DuPage Foundation, the Senior Citizen Crime Prevention series at COD is committed to providing information and skills designed to keep senior citizens safe.
