Woodland Intermediate to Demonstrate Their Lip Sync, Dancing Skills on May 30

Woodland Intermediate students will be demonstrating their favorite lip sync and dancing skills during the third annual WILDcat Show.

Organized by Social Worker Renae Burau and Dual Language Teacher Pam Valkenaar, the event is open to the public. This year there are 27 acts with 60 fourth and fifth grade students participating. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30 in the multi-purpose room at Woodland Intermediate, 1115 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee.

The suggested donation for those attending is $1 and proceeds are used to support ROAR (Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and being Ready to learn) events at the school. ROAR is part of the district-wide behavioral framework for the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) theme.

For members of the media, rehearsals are 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24.
