Kane County Master Gardeners to host photography workshop

Capture the beauty of your garden for seasons to come with tips from a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener.

Join Master Gardener Donna Mack on Wednesday, May 23, in St. Charles as she explores how to take or improve photographs of your yard and gardens, all without fancy equipment. Mack will discuss timing, lighting, composition and more.

"Great photographs can be taken in your own yard and they help you enjoy your flowers - and the hard work you put into them - all year long," said Sarah Fellerer, Master Gardener Program Coordinator with University of Illinois Extension. "Program attendees will learn valuable information and have time to ask questions."

"Photographing Your Garden" will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at the University of Illinois Extension office in Kane County, located at 535 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Cost is $10 per person, and registration and payment are required prior to the program.

Space is limited.

If a reasonable accommodation is needed to participate, contact the office at (630) 584-6166, at least two weeks prior to the event. To sign up or learn more, visit go.illinois.edu/extensiondkk.
