Preschool Fun Fair celebrates early childhood

One, two, buckle those shoes and get ready for Schaumburg Park District's Preschool Fun Fair.

The fair is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, at the Pat Shephard Center, 421 N. Springinsguth Road. Activities include carnival games, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, train rides and an inflatable moon-bounce.

Picnic food and treats will be available for purchase.

"It's a great event for young children and parents to connect and have fun," said Teresa Varco, early childhood supervisor. "There will be plenty of games and prizes."

The fair will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, festivities will take place inside the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Pre-registration cost is $11 per child or $15 the day of the event.
