New appointments announced for area school districts and at WomanCare practice

• Des Plaines District 62 named Joanna Krause Student Services coordinator, responsible for administering and supervising the district's special education programs and services in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations. Krause replaces Stacy LaMarca who is moving out of state at the end of the school year.

"I am very excited and eager to begin the role of Student Services coordinator for District 62," said Krause. "I am grateful for ongoing support from District 62 administrators and colleagues, for allowing me to learn and grow professionally while continuing to support students and staff in this new capacity."

Krause has been with District 62 for six years, serving as a school social worker at North Elementary. Prior to joining the district, Krause worked as a school social worker in District 37 for six years.
