Schaumburg Senior Follies Proves that Age is Just a Number

SUBJECT: SCHAUMBURG SENIOR FOLLIES PROVES THAT AGE IS JUST A NUMBER

Toe-tapping fun, singing and even some acrobatic dancing are among the varied entertainment in store for audiences at Schaumburg's 6th annual Senior Follies. The show, featuring performances by area senior citizens ages 62 and up, will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg.

Over a dozen acts will perform at the program including Mark Davis from Hoffman Estates a Handsaw Player and Singer; Robert Garvey of Schaumburg and Joan Neville of Palatine performing a Ballroom Dance; Dan Lambatos from Schaumburg with a Stand-up Comedy routine; Joan Mundstock of Schaumburg performing an acrobatic dance and Peggy Oddo from Prospect Heights performing a Tap Dance; Toni Higgins-Thrash - Singer/Dancer and the following singers: Don Landise from Elk Grove Village; Adeline Lint from Schaumburg; Rod Marino from Elk Grove Village; Bill Moretti from Streamwood; Alfred Papiewski from Elgin; Margaret Perotti from Schaumburg and Robert Gunnison from Lake Villa.

Tickets for Senior Follies are $5 (general admission) and can be purchased online at www.prairiecenter.org or by calling 847-895-3600.

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts is located at 201 Schaumburg Ct. in Schaumburg.
