Batavia Kiwanis Club to host spaghetti dinner

The Batavia Kiwanis Club is will host its 32nd annual spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Riverview Banquets on Route 25 in Batavia.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, bread and ice cream for dessert. There also will be cash and gift basket raffles featuring many of our local businesses.

Tickets can be purchased at First State Bank or from any of your friendly Batavia Kiwanians for $10, $5 for age 12 or older; or free for children younger than age 5. Takeout meals are available as well.

All proceeds will go to our youth service programs such as Batavia High School Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids as well as scholarships for Batavia students. Help the Kiwanis Club of Batavia continue to provide growth opportunities to the youth of Batavia and service to the community.

The Kiwanis Club of Batavia meets twice monthly from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Andre's Restaurant, and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at Pal Joey's. You are invited to join any of the Kiwanis Club of Batavia meetings.

Kiwanis is an international service organization dedicated to changing the world one child, one community at a time. We make our mark by responding to the unique needs of our community with a variety of local projects and a multitude of youth programs with emphasis on service leadership. Children are our future, and we enjoy volunteering our time to work alongside them to strengthen our community.
