COD's Graphic Design Program to host Portfolios 2018 May 10

The Graphic Design program at College of DuPage will host Portfolios 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the McAninch Arts Center, second floor lounge, on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

It is the 12th annual event celebrating the graphic design work of COD and DuPage County high school students.

COD students currently enrolled in the Portfolio Seminar course will present and discuss work developed during their time in the program. Original work includes graphic design, illustrations, advertising campaigns and web design.

The event also features an awards ceremony where COD Graphic Design students and DuPage County high school art and design students will be honored. All first place, honorable mention and finalist work will be displayed at the event.

"This platform has proven to be a great place for students to showcase their creative skills to hundreds of their peers, families, industry leaders and community members," said David Rogers, Graphic Design Professor. "Portfolios has grown substantially, resulting in a great networking opportunity for all involved."
