Friends for Therapeutic Equine Activities' new home in Wayne seeks volunteers and horses

Friends for Therapeutic Equine Activities has relocated to the Meadow View Equestrian Center in Wayne.

Formerly located in Winfield for over 21 years, their new facility is situated in a picturesque setting at 4N681 Munger Road, Wayne.

FTEA offers quality equine assisted activities for children and adults with disabilities, by providing a unique experience for its participants to interact with gentle, trained horses and highly skilled instructors.

Volunteers are welcome to help with a wide variety of tasks that include working with participates and assisting with the facilities upkeep.

Additional horses and ponies are being sought as equine partners in the program.

Friends for Therapeutic Equine Activities operates as a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center, and is an Illinois registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. More information can be found at www.ftea.org, on Facebook, or by calling (630) 588-8543.
