Be a part of filling our sky with a rainbow of color at the annual Kite Fly at Lions Park from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Lions Park, 1200 Silver Lake Road.

All are welcome to join this free event in celebration of National Kite Flying Month.

Gather your family and invite your friends of all ages for a morning of outdoor fun to welcome spring in a festive, flying fashion.

Bring your favorite kite from home and participate in the fun on your own or join in a kite flying contest including categories for biggest kite, smallest kite, most unusual kite and others.

Register on site to participate in the contest.

Participants must bring their own kites and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
