Business seminar to lead nonprofits through change

"Leading Nonprofit Organizations through Change," a free seminar, will be presented at 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, by Aurora University's Nonprofit Leadership Institute.

Renee Kosiarek, AU assistant professor of leadership studies, will speak at the Orchard Center campus, 2245 Sequoia Drive in Aurora. The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.

Networking and refreshments will be from 7:30 to 8 a.m.

Kosiarek said, "Learn how to navigate through change and hear stories of successful organizations that worked through the change process.

"This session will help you explore and apply a popular theory of change to your organization and to develop a plan to successfully implement change. "By the end of the event, you will have several new ideas to help manifest change in your nonprofit, "Kosiarek said.

Aurora University's Nonprofit Leadership Institute speaker series allows professionals to learn about the latest developments in nonprofit leadership and network with other industry peers. The speaker series is offered bimonthly at the AU Orchard Center and presents emerging and relevant topics through experienced nonprofit leaders.
