Chiropractor, pain medicine specialist to discuss back pain

Chiropractor Dr. Randy David and pain medicine specialist Dr. Jing Liang from Centegra Physician Care will talk to community members about back and neck pain from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5. The session with David and Liang will be in the conference room at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center, 200 E. Congress Parkway, Crystal Lake.

Back pain is the leading cause of disability in the U.S., and experts estimate that 80 percent of the population will experience back pain in their lifetime. At "What's Behind Your Back Pain," David and Liang will describe the causes of back and neck pain. They also will discuss how the team at the Centegra Back and Spine Center works together to treat these common conditions.

The talk is part of Healthy Doses, a series of free information sessions led by clinical experts from Centegra Health System on health care topics.
