Oakton hosting free content marketing, social media seminar

Join entrepreneur, professional speaker and podcaster Joe Pulizzi for the free public Oakton Business Book Author Series presentation, "Content Marketing" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10.

The seminar is in Room 1604 of Oakton Community College at 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.

Pulizzi will explain the content marketing process to help participants use social media and search engine optimization to transform one-time website visitors into long-term customers.

Attendees will network with Pulizzi, Oakton business faculty and department leaders from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The author's presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., and Pulizzi will answer questions and have a book signing after the presentation.

Pulizzi's book "Epic Content Marketing" was named as one of the "Five Must Read Business Books of the Year" by "Fortune."
