Magnificat Prayer Breakfast returns May 12
The Magnificat McHenry Chapter will host the annual Magnificat Prayer Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at a new location, the Parish Center at St. John the Baptist Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg. Seating is at 8:30 a.m.
The guest speaker will be the Rev. Msgr. Martin Heinz of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond.
Rev. Heinz is known for his compelling homilies that bring his wealth of knowledge to bear on the challenge of incorporating the truth of our faith into every day life. His rich understanding of Our Lady and her relevance to our lives today make him a perfect speaker for the Mother's Day weekend breakfast.
In addition to the program, enjoy a traditional style breakfast and vibrant music from Peace, led by Cindy Milczewski.
Tickets are $30. Order early bird tickets by April 30 for $20. Tickets also are available through Wednesday, May 9, at The Little Way Bookstore, 50 Brink St. in Crystal Lake. Seating is limited and tickets are not available at the door of the event.
