Library Announces Teen Volunteer Squad

Teens entering grades seven to eleven are welcome to join the Schaumburg Library's new Volunteer Squad this summer and may apply online beginning April 2 at www.SchaumburgLibrary.org.

Members will help make the library's Summer Challenge a success by assisting with registration, handing out badges and books, straightening up the Enchanted Forest and craft area, making buttons, preparing crafts and helping to manage supplies and toys. The library is seeking teens who are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly.

For a full listing of spring programs and opportunities for teens, see the teen section of the Library's April/May Guide, which was mailed to Schaumburg Township residents. The Guide is also available on the library's website.
