Have a hard-boiled blast at Family Egg Decorating Night

Gather your crew, some creative ideas and a dozen hard-boiled eggs for Schaumburg Park District's Family Egg Decorating Night, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company, a Wintrust Community Bank.

Family Egg Decorating Night is set for 6:45 to 7:45 p.m., March 28 at the Pat Shephard Center, 421 N. Springinsguth Road. A variety of supplies will be available for decorating, with a flashlight egg hunt planned in Safety Park while the eggs dry. Eggs hidden for the hunt will contain special prizes and participants will receive a snack during the event.

"We'll have several different kits available for dyeing eggs," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. "Egg decorating is fun and messy, so why not do it at the Park District?"

In addition to hard-boiled eggs, participants should bring flashlights for the hunt.

Cost is $7 for residents ages 1 to 14 and $9 for non-residents.
