Deadline Approaching For DKG Gamma Gamma Grants Which Are Available For District 211 Graduating Females

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an organization with the purpose of honoring women educators seeking to advance professionalism in education. The Gamma Gamma Chapter of DKG International offers recruitment grant monies available to high school senior women who intend to prepare for a career in the field of education. Two $1,500 non-renewable recruitment grants exist for eligible female students, with additional monetary support throughout their sophomore, junior, and senior years as long as they remain in education.

The Gamma Gamma Educational Recruitment Grant and the Anne Fussell Memorial Scholarship/Recruitment Grant are available for students planning on pursuing an education major.

Any interested female senior in the Class of 2018 who is attending a School District 211 high school is eligible for these grant monies. Applications are available at local high school counseling centers, as well as online at www.gammagamma75.org Applications and supporting materials MUST BE RECEIVED at the designated address by FRIDAY, APRIL 13th
