Primrose School of St. Charles West hosts grand opening March 24

A new, locally-owned business is making a big investment in the community by providing up to 35 new jobs and more than $5 million in project costs to the economy. By opening the new Primrose School of St. Charles West, local franchise owners Nilam and Mrugesh Patel and Pinal and Shashi Kerai are poised to make an impact on the lives of St. Charles-area children for years to come.

"After seeing the impact Primrose had on our own children, we knew our extended family wanted to bring the same high-quality early education and care experience to the St. Charles community," said Shashi Kerai, a franchise owner of the school. "Primrose Schools offers a strong curriculum that is research-informed and time-tested, and as a family of scientists and doctors, we definitely respect those characteristics."

The school, which officially opened to students on March 19, will host a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24.

The grand opening celebration will feature family-friendly activities, including a balloon artist, face painting, glitter tattoos, a juggler, DJ, refreshments including samples from the Primrose Balanced Menu and a raffle for a Google Home speaker. Additionally, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. with Mayor Raymond Rogina, St. Charles city officials and representatives of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. The 12,500-square-foot school will also be open for families and children to tour.

"Our family has always had a passion for education and learning," said Mrugesh Patel, another franchise owner of Primrose School of St. Charles West. "When we learned that we could bring high-quality early education to the families of St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia, we leapt at the opportunity to foster a love of learning in young children. We are excited to lay a foundation for future success for the next generation of leaders."
