Elgin Kiwanis to host open house March 27

Make a difference! The Kiwanis Club of Elgin invites you to an open house for prospective members at noon Tuesday, March 27, at the Grumpy Goat Tavern in Elgin.

Club members will describe the impact that Kiwanis membership has made in their lives and in the lives of children in the Elgin area.

Volunteering, building friendships, enhancing leadership skills and developing business contacts are among the reasons to join.

The Kiwanis Club of Elgin, now in its 98th year, received its charter March 9, 1920, and serves the Kiwanis International mission, to change the world one child at a time, one community at a time. In that time, the Elgin noon club has donated over one million dollars to organizations in Elgin and South Elgin.

Anyone interested in learning more about the club is invited to attend the open house on March 27 at The Grumpy Goat Tavern, 875 Sports Way, Elgin, at the Highlands Golf Course.

For information and reservations, contact Susan Humbracht at (847) 888-4663.
