Guerin Prep McTeacher's Night at the Rosemont McDonald's

Guerin College Prep held their annual McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Rosemont McDonald's on River Road. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Guerin.

On Thursday, March 15th, the restaurant was taken over by Guerin teachers and administrative staff excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers handed out orders, cleaned tables, made ice cream treats, served drinks, and even dressed up in a Pie costume. Nancy Konrath and Christine Watts dressed in the Pie outfit almost the entire night and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures. Christina Watts even danced the Macarena in the Pie Box. Teacher Felece King sold the pies the entire night, they had a great pie selling team in place. Principal Booth was also in attendance and enjoyed the evening and worked all night making shakes, sundaes and ice cream cones.

Guerin plans to use the money raised to go into the Parents Club fund to support activities at the school. A special appearance by the Chicago Bulls IncrediBulls made this night extra special.

A special thank you goes to Scott Dinga of the Parents Club, who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.
