Rotary Club taking donations for Easter baskets

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville - Morning will be donating Easter baskets to families in need in the Carpentersville area.

The club's goal is to donate over 35 baskets.

Each basket will range from $35-$40 and should contain all of these items: 5- to 8-pound ham (canned or bone-in); large aluminum roast pain, hominy, two cans each of vegetables and fruits, muffin, roll, bread or biscuit mix, cake mix and frosting, Easter candy, and a laundry basket (10 inches high by 16 inches wide by 22 inches long).

Any help is welcome. They will be grateful accepting any donation - full baskets, single items, or money to purchase items.

Let them know by Sunday, March 25, if you'll be bringing us a basket or donation by emailing carpentersvilleRotary@gmail.com.

Easter baskets can be dropped off at the Carpentersville Village Hall at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 31.

Checks can be made out to: Rotary Club of Carpentersville - Morning, P.O. Box 946, Carpentersville, IL 60110.
