Pizza dinner to benefit Aurora preschool

An annual pizza and pasta dinner Thursday, March 22 will benefit Aurora's Wesley United Methodist Church preschool. The event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Luigi's Pizza and Fun Center, 732 Prairie St. in Aurora. The public is invited.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad and fruit punch beverage. Proceeds will help fund scholarships for preschool students. The preschool's scholarship fund assists more than 30 percent of students. More than $15,000 is raised annually through fundraisers, gifts and donations to the fund.

Tickets are $7, $5 for children age 3 and older or $20 for two adults and children in immediate family.

Tickets are available at the door or at the church office, 14 N. May St. in Aurora.

Founded in 1950, the preschool provides quality early childhood learning by six teachers for 40 children ages 3-5. Classes meet from 9 to 11:45 a.m. weekdays. Tuition discounts are available for multiple children from one family. Highlights include center-based activities, free play, art projects, group games, weekly fitness class, healthy snacks and indoor gym and outdoor playground. Openings exist for more students.
