Convertible owners invited to join annual Lilac Parade

The Lombard Lilac Parade Committee is seeking convertibles to drive in the 2018 parade on Sunday, May 20. The theme will be "Musicals of Stage & Screen."

The parade will step off at 1:30 p.m., rain or shine, from Main and Wilson (Glenbard East High School). The parade route is 1.5 miles long and typically lasts about 2 hours.

This event has earned local, state and national recognition for outstanding family entertainment. The annual festival and parade brings a large number of visitors and business to Lombard.

This community celebration cannot continue its long-standing tradition of quality, family fun entertainment without support. Sponsorship helps pay for special parade entertainment and advertising.
