College of DuPage to host Career and Internship Fair April 5

The Career Services office at College of DuPage is hosting a Career and Internship Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

This event is free and open to the public.

Aimed primarily at students, attendees can meet with recruiters from dozens of local employers and discuss a range of available jobs and internships. All participating employers have open positions they are seeking to fill.

A free LinkedIn photo booth also will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the fair to all registered participants.

Additionally, free workshops will be held throughout the week prior to the fair to prepare attendees to get the most from the fair, as well as provide job seekers with skills and strategies for a successful job search, including resume preparation and review, and crafting an elevator pitch.
