Martial artists gather for Leadership Summit in Elgin Feb. 25

Kyuki-do practitioners from throughout the United States gathered at Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin for its fifth annual Leadership Summit. Owners, instructors and students with aspirations of owning or instructing were immersed in a weekend of martial arts and business training for three days from Feb. 23-25.

Master Jeff Kim, president of the The American Kyuki-Do Federation, explained "The opportunity to gather and focus specifically on techniques to improve ourselves directly effects the student. They receive the benefit of the latest proven teaching methods in the industry."

A record number of participants attended from Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Wisconsin and Illinois.

The American Kyuki-Do Federation is the sanctioning body for Kyuki-Do and is headquartered in Elgin.
