Gain Peace to present 'Sharia Law: Myths and Facts' Feb. 25

Gain Peace, a nonprofit organization, invites the community to attend the program "Sharia Law: Myths and Facts" from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, in the Huntley Meeting room in the lower level of St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

The program will be presented by Dr. Sabeel Ahmed, director of Gain Peace. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer period from 2 to 3:30 p.m. To register, visit the Eventbrite.com page.

Admission is free. There will be snacks and coffee provided. Share this event with your groups, family and friends as these are very important discussions and it will help prevent misunderstandings.

Note, during the session, they will be taking pictures and video recording the whole event for educational purpose.
