Search for green clovers at Shamrock Scramble

Wear your best St. Patrick's Day attire and head out into a field of green clovers and treats at Schaumburg Park District's Shamrock Scramble.

Open to children ages 1 to 6, the St. Patrick's Day-themed event is set for 1 to 2 p.m., March 11 at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane. Activities include making crafts and going on a shamrock scavenger hunt. Each shamrock will contain a special treat.

"Shamrock Scramble is a fun way to get outside and celebrate St. Patrick's Day," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. "Children will learn about the holiday while playing games and hunting for four-leaf-clovers."

Cost is $5 per child for residents and $7 per child for non-residents. Registration is recommended by March 9.
