Register for Spring 2018 Programs at Palatine Park District Beginning February 26
While the Palatine Park District spring program catalogs will be arriving in the mail at over 38,000 homes this week, the full 96-page book is also available to view online at palatineparks.org. Programs and events included in this seasonal book include summer outdoor pool information, preschool registration, summer camp programs, and more.
Summer 2018 outdoor pool registration opens February 26. Season pool pass pricing for individuals and households is included on page 11 of the program catalog. Those renewing their 2017 pool pass are invited to complete their renewal online at palatineparks.org under the Online Registration tab. New pass holders will need to complete a pool pass registration form. Forms can be downloaded at palatineparks.org or complete a form in person at Birchwood Recreation Center, Community Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. All new passholders age 4 and older will need to have a photo taken.
Palatine Park District's preschool program is celebrating their 50th anniversary. Beginning on page 24 of the spring program catalog, a complete list of 2018-2019 school year programs are available. Experienced teachers at all four state-licensed preschools offer a variety of developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 3-5 to learn and grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Interested parents are invited to attend the Preschool Spring Preview and 50th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, April 21. This event will also be a celebration for past students who are invited to stop by to visit with the preschool staff members at each site.
Parents looking for summer camps for their children will find a wide variety of options through Palatine Park District. Camp offerings range in ages, dates, times, and activities. In addition to Day Camp, Sports Camp, Kids Camp, and Summer Club, the District offers several specialty camps in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, horsemanship, music, and theatre. See pages 40-45 for the District's 2018 summer camp programming.
