Glenbard East student one of select few worldwide to ace Advanced Placement Research exam

Congratulations to Glenbard East High School student Dominic Covelli on being one of only 176 students worldwide to have earned every point possible on the Advanced Placement Research exam.

Students who take AP Research work with an expert advisor, examine an academic topic or issue and design, plan, and conduct a year-long research-based investigation to address it. The class culminates in an academic paper of 4,000-5,000 words and a presentation, with an oral defense, in front of a panel of evaluators.

AP Research is the second class in the AP Capstone Program. Students must take AP Seminar before taking AP Research.
