Visiting Angels of South Elgin receives the 2018 Employer of Choice Award

Visiting Angels of South Elgin announced today that it has received the 2018 Best of Home Care - Employer of Choice Award from Home Care Pulse. The South Elgin agency is now ranked among the best employers of in-home caregivers in the Kane County and surrounding areas.

"We congratulate Visiting Angels of South Elgin on earning the Best of Home Care - Employer of Choice Award," says Aaron Marcum, CEO and founder of Home Care Pulse. "Since this award is based on employee feedback, it shows the dedication Visiting Angels has to its employees.

Home Care Pulse is a third-party company that gathers feedback from caregivers employed by the South Elgin agency. Each month, caregivers and CNAs are interviewed with questions and their answers are ranked and compared with other agencies across the US. Because Home Care Pulse is an independent company, it is able to collect honest and unbiased feedback each month.

Cheryl Benson, who has worked in health care for many years, is a caregiver for the South Elgin agency. "It's a wonderful place to work," says Cheryl. "The communication with the office is excellent and I love how this job allows me to bring joy to people."
