Discover your foodie side at St. Charles Restaurant Week Feb. 26 to March 2

From Feb. 26 to March 2, visit participating St. Charles restaurants and receive a 20-percent discount off your total bill when you present a special coupon - either printed or on your phone. With more than 40 participating restaurants, St. Charles offers one the largest Restaurant Week selections in the area.

"Restaurant week is a great way to get out and support your local restaurants and to experience the variety of cuisine that St. Charles has to offer," says Matt O'Rourke, economic development division manager.

There are three easy ways to get your hands on a coupon:

1. Watch your mailbox for the Restaurant Week postcard. Present it at any participating restaurant for the discount.

2. Click online and social media ads to get your coupon.

3. Download the coupon to your mobile device and show it on your phone or print one out from the City of St. Charles website at www.stcharlesil.gov/restaurant-week and see the list of participating restaurants and their menus.

Note: Only one bill per table is eligible for the discount, a minimum purchase of $20 is required, and the 20-percent discount excludes tax, tip, and alcohol. This offer is not valid with other promotions the restaurants may be running and is for dine-in only, no carryout. For the contest, which runs Feb. 26 to March 2, the three diners with the most visits to different St. Charles restaurants are eligible to win a $25 St. Charles Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. The gift certificate can be used at any of the local participating businesses listed. In the event of a tie, three winners will be drawn from the eligible names. Winners will be notified through Instagram. Employees of the City of St. Charles are not eligible to win a prize but can send in Restaurant Week photos.
