Naperville parks set summer concert series

Naperville Park District residents cast 1,604 votes online over 10 days in January for their preferred locations and style of music for the district's summer Concerts in Your Park series.

The winning parks include two from each region of the district. Here's a look at this year's schedule:

• June 10: Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Road.

• June 24: Gartner Park, 524 W. Gartner Road.

• July 8: Ashbury Park, 1740 Conan Doyle Road.

• July 15: Arrowhead Park, 711 Iroquois Ave.

• July 22: Walnut Ridge Park, 2304 Keim Road.

• July 29: Tall Grass Park, 3512 Grassmere Road.

Bands for each location will be announced in the district's Summer Program Guide, which will be available online at www.napervilleparks.org April 23 and mailed to Naperville residents beginning April 25.
