Lisle Lions Club offers scholarships

As part of an ongoing commitment to support education and community service, the Lisle Lions Club Educational Foundation is offering at least two $500 scholarships.

Lion Gary Morten of the Youth Activities Committee notes that applicants must be high school seniors and must live in Lisle's 60532 ZIP Code.

Each award may be renewable annually, up to three times, for a total value of $2,000 per recipient. Each renewal requires a new application and subsequent approval.

Applications are available through guidance offices at the Lisle High School and Benet Academy, or by downloading from the Lisle Lions Club website (e-clubhouse.org/sites/lisleil).

Completed applications are to be returned to Benet Academy or Lisle Senior High School Guidance Office or sent to Lisle Lions Club, P.O. Box 481, Lisle IL, 60532. Applications are due April 4.

Selections will be evaluated on the following criteria: leadership, academic potential, community participation, career aspirations, and financial need.

Selections will be made by the Lisle Lions Club Educational Foundation Committee. Recipients will be announced in May 2018.
