Woodland Middle School Presents Winter Play on Jan. 26 and 27

Gurnee - Woodland Middle School Drama Club proudly presents an adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's popular detective story, "Sherlock Holmes," as the winter play on January 26 and 27 at the school's Cafeteria A, 7000 Washington St., Gurnee.

The story is based on a woman named Alice who has letters written by a deceased girl and both Sherlock and his rival Moriarty want them. Holmes knows Moriarty only wants the letters for sinister purposes and he is willing to risk his life to stop him. Join the search for the letters at 7:30 p.m. January 26 and 6:00 p.m. January 27 at Woodland Middle School in Cafeteria A. Adult admission is $5 and Children 12 and under are $3.

The Saturday, January 27 performance will be interpreted for the hearing impaired.

The play is directed by Amy Miller-Garcia.

For members of the media: Dress rehearsal is 3 p.m. Thursday, January 25 at Woodland Middle School.
