'Healthy Doses' to focus on peripheral artery disease Jan. 23

Dr. Asim Zaidi, a board-certified cardiologist with Centegra Physician Care, will talk to community members about peripheral artery disease or PAD Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Leg pain when walking is a common symptom of peripheral artery disease, which affects 8.5 million people in the U.S., according to the American Heart Association. At "Don't Ignore Your Leg Pain," Zaidi will discuss the importance of identifying the cause of leg pain and treating it.
