Lavelle Law names Jennifer Burt Tee as new partner

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law has announced that associate Jennifer Burt Tee has been made a partner at the firm effective Jan. 1.

Tee joined Lavelle Law in 2012. Her work deals with a variety of matters, including commercial, business, contract, probate and employment litigation. She holds a B.A. from Indiana University and her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

"Jennifer has been an outstanding attorney during her tenure with Lavelle Law and we feel it is most appropriate to recognize her work by making her a partner in the firm," said managing partner Ted McGinn. "She has handled many significant corporate clients for us out of our Chicago Loop office and we look forward to her continued contributions in the future."

Tee welcomes the added responsibility of becoming a partner. "Lavelle Law has a tremendous history of growth and success, and I take seriously the responsibility of contributing to maintaining and enhancing our reputation and success. I look forward to being more involved in guiding the future of this great firm."

Lavelle Law's main office is in Schaumburg and maintains an additional office in the Chicago Loop. The firm was founded in 1989 as a single attorney practice with an emphasis on tax law.
