Kirk Players to hold 'Peter Pan and Wendy' auditions

Kirk Players will host open auditions for its spring children's show, "Peter Pan and Wendy," from 7-9:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, and Wednesday, Jan. 10, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mundelein, 10 S. Lake St., Mundelein.

"Peter Pan and Wendy," a comedy adventure adapted by Doug Rand, is a fast-moving stage presentation closely based on the original novel by J.M. Barrie. There are many challenging parts available for children ages 7 and older, teens and adults.

The play is scheduled to open Friday, April 6, at Mundelein High School Theatre, followed by performances Saturday and Sunday, April 7 and 8.

Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script, and are also asked to bring a picture of themselves to be attached to their audition application.

Callbacks are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at St. Andrew's.
