YMCA Welcomes Community to Holiday Party

Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted scores of excited children at the North Suburban YMCA's Holiday Extravaganza on December 10. Rep. Brad Schneider and his wife Julie were among the guests at the free community event, where families enjoyed treats from Pinstripes and Nothing Bundt Cakes and posed for pictures with the North Pole celebrities. Visitors also toured the massive "Deck the Halls" display of uniquely decorated wreaths, buying raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite. As evening fell, the Y illuminated an outdoor tree display provided by event sponsor Lowe's of Northbrook.

The North Suburban YMCA hosts a variety of community events throughout the year, designed to bring families and neighbors together to share happy memories and build lasting relationships. To learn more about programs and events at the Y, visit NSYMCA.org.
