COD December 'Images' Highlights distinguished alumna Peach Carr, cosmetology program
"Images," College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its December edition segments on the college's Cosmetology and Business of Craft Beer programs.
Each month, "Images" highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.
The December "Images" highlights the College's Cosmetology program, showcasing the classroom, lab and clinical settings that give students valuable hands-on experience and community members access to affordable salon treatments. Students, faculty and instructors offer a general overview of the curriculum and its relevance to today's job market.
This month's show also includes a segment on Continuing Education's Business of Craft Beer program, which teaches students about the business side of this booming industry.
The December show also includes a segment on 2017 COD Distinguished Alumna Peach Carr. Carr, who is a successful clothing designer and appeared on two seasons of the hit show "Project Runway," was one of seven individuals recognized by the College for their outstanding achievements.
Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
