Children's Museum Bubble Bash tickets on sale

Visitors can "Walk on the Wild Side" when the DuPage Children's Museum holds its annual Bubble Bash from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 31, at the museum, 301 N. Washington St., Naperville.

The year-end celebration, now in its 16th year, has become a holiday tradition for families to celebrate together.

This year, participants can wear a pith hat and make a vest to decorate with stickers as they travel through each station, weave a beautiful collaborative canopy, contribute to the firefly fluorescent sky, build a fort, construct a raft to float down stream, move to the beat of African drums, and let out a roar during the Countdown to Noon confetti celebration.

Families will enjoy a special appearance by Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico. There will be a quiet countdown and quiet jungle room for more sensitive visitors to enjoy.

Bubble Bash tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $20 for museum members and $25 for nonmembers and can be purchased online at dupagechildrens.org/bubblebash, by phone at (630) 637-8000, or in person at the museum. Tickets are nonrefundable.
