Bartlett National Night Out wins second place in U.S.

The National Association of Town Watch recently announced the village of Bartlett was awarded second place out of 47 other similar-sized communities in the United States for this year's National Night Out celebration.

Bartlett was the only Illinois community to place in the top five in any of the National Night Out population categories.

Thousands of Bartlett residents participated in this year's National Night Out celebration by attending the National Night Out Twilight Skate Park Bash, Family Fun Night and Pool Party held on July 28, the National Night Out Block Party & Neighborhood Lighting Competition and the Community Blood Drive July 29, the National Night Out Golf Skills Competition July 30, and the 24th Annual National Night Out Picnic in the Park celebration on Aug. 1.
