Marathon runners invited to sign up to help GLASA

The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association invites community members to sign up as a GLASA charity runner in the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, to help make a difference in the lives of individuals with physical and visual disabilities. Runners who join Team GLASA can guarantee their entry in the 2018 Chicago Marathon before general registration opens.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon raises millions of dollars for multiple charitable causes, such as GLASA. GLASA charity runners have the lowest allowable fundraising minimum and receive many benefits. Secure a spot by noon Nov. 30 and GLASA will pay your marathon registration fee ($195 value). Registering with GLASA also includes an official CARA training program, so anyone from experienced runners to first timers can take part. For more information about team benefits and to register, visit www.glasa.org/marathon.

GLASA's motto is "Let No One Sit on the Sidelines!" and they believe that the quality of life should not be limited by a physical or visual disability. Anyone planning to run is invited to give back to improve the lives of others by joining Team GLASA. GLASA's programming would not be possible without support from community members.
