Marklund Benefit Concert Nov. 17 to benefit aquatic program

The 2017 Marklund Benefit Concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the South Street campus of Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South St. in Geneva. It will be a freewill offering.

The concert is in thanksgiving of blessings. It is a demonstration of how you can use your blessings and talents to help those with special needs. The concert features friends, local residents and musicians from the Fox Valley area to Chicago. Through the donation of their time and talents, they will present an evening of inspiration and hope.

With orchestra and choir, hear special performances by artists: Nathan Henry, J. Brian Hill, Nancy Small-Killeen, Barb McCaskey, Candy Kless-Glasco and Bradley Morrison.

Also hear an original composition which will be dedicated to Marklund during the concert.

Music heals, inspires, and stimulates a universal understanding of acceptance. What better way is there to say "we care!"

A freewill offering will be taken at the concert. Proceeds will be donated to Marklund's Aquatic Therapy Program.
