Library Offers Variety of Computer Classes in December

For those just beginning to acquire computer skills to those who are computer savvy and want to learn new skills, the Schaumburg Library offers affordable classes for anyone high school age and older. Located at the Central Library in Schaumburg, 130 S. Roselle Rd., the classes cost $12 for library cardholders, $17 for non-cardholders, and $9 for seniors, age 50 and up. All classes require registration. Register in person at the Computer Assistance Desk on the library's second floor, or by phone at (847) 923-3352.

The following classes will take place in December: Excel and Access, as well as classes for seniors (age 50 and up) including Windows, iPad and iPhone, Android phone and tablet. Additionally, an "EMedia Drop-in" session will be held from 4-6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8 in Workshop on the first floor of the library. Staff will be available to demonstrate how to use the library's downloadable resources, including eBooks, audiobooks and music, on a variety of devices.
