Gala supports DuPage Trinity Services programs

"An Evening of Holiday Music" dinner and concert gala will raise money to support Trinity Services Inc. and its programs to help men, women and children with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

The fourth annual gala begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Butterfield Country Club, 2800 Midwest Road, Oak Brook.

Trinity Services offers residential, behavioral health, adult learning and other programs for those with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Guests will be treated to a showcase of holiday music paired with dinner, fellowship and a preferred raffle of gifts for loved ones or oneself.

Musical performances will feature Catherine Ramsey, a harpist and sophomore at Downers Grove North High School who recently was selected as one of nine finalists in the Intermediate 1 Division for the Mexico International Harp Competition and Festival. The Allegro!!! Violin Ensemble from the Western Springs School of Talent Education also will perform, featuring children who are at the top of their game in string performance.

Each year, Trinity Services welcomes members of the DuPage County community to attend the dinner and concert gala to learn more about the work Trinity does and become part of the Trinity community.

In DuPage County, Trinity provides residential services to people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness, including in group homes in residential neighborhoods and in two permanent supportive housing apartment buildings. Trinity also operates the Neurofeedback, Counseling and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Institute of Illinois in DuPage County. Trinity has served the county for 13 years.
