Grayslake church hosts annual Cookie Walk

Don't bake for the holidays! Attend the 16th Annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9-11 a.m. at United Protestant Church of Grayslake. Stroll among decorated tables to select from many varieties of homemade cookies and other treats for sale by the pound.

The festive event will be held in the lower level Fellowship Hall at the church, located at 54 S. Whitney Street, Grayslake. The Cookie Walk is being sponsored by the UPC Women's Christian Fellowship to benefit its mission projects.

The United Protestant Church of Grayslake is affiliated with the United Church of Christ Fox Valley Association and the United Methodist Church Northern Illinois Conference. Worship services are held at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, with Christian education for all ages at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays during the school year. The interim pastor is Rev. Joane Patton-Seaton.
