The St. Charles Public Library's Sunday Concert Series will host acoustic guitarist and local resident Jim Green at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the library's Carnegie Community Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

Weaving between musical genres such as folk, blues and New Age, Green creates enchanting soundscapes to percussively driven finger style songs that fully illustrate his uniqueness in the world of guitar players. He is a 2004 Guitar Idol Champion and has been named "one of the best independent artists in the Midwest" by the editors of Billboard Magazine.

This event is part of the library's Sunday Concert Series, featuring a wide variety of live musical performances.
