Aurora University to present 'Twelfth Night'

Naperville's Megan Conrad and Jake Diaz star in Aurora University's production of "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10 and 11, and Wednesday to Saturday, Nov. 15 to 18, at Aurora University's Perry Theatre, 349 S. Gladstone Ave., Aurora.

Conrad, a 2017 Neuqua Valley graduate, plays Viola, who is shipwrecked on the beaches of fictional Illyria. She believes she has lost her twin brother, Sebastian, at sea so she starts a new life in the new world dressed as a boy.

But Sebastian, played by Diaz, a 2017 Naperville North graduate, survived and chaos ensues.

Aurora University's show is set in a contemporary world inspired by hipsters, music festivals and celebrity culture. Admission is free.
